“Let’s Not Cancel the Year That Woke Us All Up”
I wanted to reach out to all of you during these challenging times, share my thoughts on our current situation, and provide some good news.
The past nine months have been difficult and unexpected. We are living through an unprecedented crisis, and it has massively impacted us all, almost every person, and nearly every industry worldwide. It caused us to make drastic changes in our lives and work and find ways to adapt.
One of our biggest challenges right now is that we are living in a state of constant change and uncertainty. That alone can be very taxing and stressful. The pandemic brought fear, panic, stress, and suffering to many households. Many of you also find yourself having to fill multiple roles, such as working and homeschooling your kids while dealing with very high-stress levels. Though never easy, the thing about change is that it can also bring many opportunities for a new perspective, reflection, learning, and growth.
Afifi Group was built around the value of taking care of one another and building our community. This value is how our story began decades ago, and it holds more importance now than ever before. With that, I am happy to announce the launch of ACT- Afifi Center for Training. We created ACT to provide you with professional and personal growth and learning opportunities through workshops, training, and online resources.
You will hear more from ACT regarding workshops, training courses, and online newsletter in the coming weeks. I encourage you to participate and give yourselves the chance to try something new and potentially learn and grow from it.
We value you, our people, and want to support you in every way we can. There is a saying “we can either let this year break us or make us”. We choose not to let it break us, so let's build ourselves up this year, invest in our potential, and turn things around for ourselves and our families for the better.
